Painting traditionally, digitally and on any pair of old jeans they can find, Jess allows their practice freedom to never be restrained within the boundaries of one medium.

Expressing concepts of the self, their work tends to focus on interests that have continued through their adolescence to early adulthood. With a heavy illustrative background and a love of abstract mark-making, they play with colour and composition to harmonise the two contrasting visuals.
